My only excuse for not posting in a month is that I am scatterbrained. I have been up to all kinds of things, though, and a couple of the, actually aren't horribly dorky XD Most still are, though, because, well....yeah.

Success in process of getting a job for sure: roughly 45%. Hoping to increase this greatly tomorrow.

Progress in that original I've been working on for years: just a few paragraphs so far but in the spirit of NanoWriMo I am going to try and actually stop being a slacker and work on it a bunch.

When it comes to games, I've been playing a bunch of Soul Silver still. Beat Red earlier today, whee. Also went back to Etrian Odyssey 2 and finally hit the fourth Stratum. I swear they just went "Let's make the areas in this one really really pretty along with the shameless Trauma Centre references". And as a note to the only one who knows what I'm talking about; game continues to fully and utterly support my characterizations . *snicker* 

A whole bunch of FOEs with an attack that hits the whole party and OHKOs even my 400+ HP Ronin in like, the second room of the floor is not cool though, Atlus. Seriously. No idea how you're supposed to kill those things without a Hexer with good luck to either terrify it or curse it so it kills itself with the MASSIVE DAMAGE it inflicts on your party, ideally before reaching the Medic.

Still hopelessly love this game and its brutal nature. Now that I've beaten SS I 'm gonna try and finally finish it.

Pokemon Soul Silver is the best game ever, srsly. Everything is awesome and pretty and cute and just <3333 Nostagia + so much cool stuff and nice little touches (option not to have to hold B to run is much nicer than you'd expect) and basically it's everything that 'updated remake of Silver' promises and more. I don't even have a badge yet and I don't care at all I love it to bits already.

Well I just caught up on about three or four months of Bleach. Torn between 'holy crap' and 'WTF'.

I am swimming in it now after being reminded of these cartoons that used to run as an in-between for shows every so often back when I was little.

In other news I have been unusually busy the last week or two, as I have finally bitten the bullet and decided to get into shape which means actually going out every day and doing something XD Need to find a balance between RL productivity and online I have been a recluse too long~ *grin* 

I'll have that tag for you Ryoko, I swear~ I feel all chipper today so maybe I can channel that into writing psycho!Il Forte XD 

I have so many things that I should be writing right now. So many things I want to write more of right now. And yet, I am working on none of them. Instead, I am working on something entirely different instead. Why am I swayed so easily by the cute?

Today, I made the first little bit of progress with going back to school. It's nowhere near done yet- it's barely begun and I have tons left to get out of the way before fall -but it's something. I'm so excited...

I think that every year, I understand Remembrance Day more. When I was a child it was just a vague concept; we wore poppies and were silent at 11:00 AM, listened to the bugles, read about Flander's Field. But it didn't really get through to me. I couldn't really put things together properly back then, but now I can believe I can truly understand the meaning of "Lest we forget." 

I hate war. I always have, and maybe it's childish to say that, but...I really do. My lack of respect for war isn't a reflection on how I feel about those who have sacrificed their lives, or those who haven't yet but will. I hate the concept. Even when it's necessary, when it fixes things, there are just so many losses, so many familes who will never see their parent or child or sibling again, friends who are lost forever...I know that it is a necessary evil, however. And I respect the soldiers, respect that bravery and conviction.

To everyone who has lost a loved one, to everyone who will, my thoughts are with you. To every soldier who has given their life for their country, for the sake of those of us back at home...your sacrifices were not in vain.

I finally have one again^^ It is shiny and new and was on sale. I haven't tried hooking up the router yet to see if it still likes me, but I'm hoping it will XD 

I've also started working on some stuff that had fallen to the back burner...guess I got a long awaited surge of creativity a bit ago? In any case, really happy today~ 

Heehee, finally got caught up on Bleach...I'd been slacking and hadn't read since Yumichika won his fight XD Kira...is just awesome, and stuff is actually happening, yay. *grin* I should really check out the anime again; I heard tell that the other half of Szayel's fight is coming up.

I'm finding myself wary at work; they've been cutting my hours, which I'm not that big a fan of. I'm part time anyway, and the last two weeks my hours have been cut down so my paycheck is going to suck. Hopefully they aren't thinking of replacing me or something...>_>
